Today was "opening day" in our school district. It is the day when all staff members from all schools gather together for a morning of required trainings and our annual pep talk from the superintendent. The problem? He's used the same motivational video for at least the past 4 years. I thought it was very inspiring the first year. But now, well, it seems to be losing its effect. The shock has worn off. It's partly the element of surprise that makes it so captivating. You can check it out if you wish. I think maybe he should look for something new for next year.

It seems like the superintendent has failed to grasp the meaning of the video...perhaps that's why he's shown it for the past four years.
