2 Months

My sweet baby turned 2 months old last Tuesday.  His 2 month checkup was Thursday (complete with shots).  Here's the skinny on my angel.

 

Second month stats (as of his check-up last Thursday):
Weight: 12 lbs. 9oz.
Length: 23 1/4 inches (he was 19 at 4 days old at the doctor's office)
Diaper size: 1
Clothing size: 0-3 month clothes...although he slept in a 3-6 month sleeper last night.  I threw a couple in the wash with the rest of his laundry.  Then, I tried it on just to see it it would fit.  It did.  *sniff, sniff*

What he loves: looking around at his surroundings, listening to music, "talking" to us, bath time (this one has moved from the hate list)

What he hates: to wait for food; to be wet (as in his diaper, not the bathtub).

What mommy loves: snuggle time, smiles, giggles, and coos



Off to work I go...

Hi-ho!  I am totally, completely not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.  I love my job.  I love my students.  I love my co-workers (well, most of them).  But I love hanging out with Lincoln more.  It's been a terribly emotional day. 

We spent the past week in St. Louis for fall break.  Lincoln's first vacation.  I'll post some pictures sometime this week.  (Can't promise it'll be tomorrow.)  He slept through most of it.
