Counting Down

I don't mean to wish my life away, but there are several "countdowns" going on around here...there are 13 days until my brother's wedding; 8 more days of school (for students); 14 more days of school for me; and only a few  more beyond that until vacation. 

Recently I've contemplated getting my Rank I in LME.  I have always loved books, and I think I would love to foster such a love in children.  I considered it when I did my Master's, but decided to go with literacy instead.  I'm totally happy teaching 5th grade social studies, but would like to expand my options...just in case.  Plus, I can take a class for free for having had a student teacher.  There's a lot going on...we'll see...
